Summer, 1600. Whenever the weather sets fair, the Border Lairds of Tornierig and Tarrasholm desert their wives to reive each other's cattle. But the women have a weapon which brings the men to their knees --for a time, at least. The play, presented by the Old Grammarians' A.D.S. was placed second and awarded the Glen Mackemmie Trophy in the S.C.D.A. Final of 1960. It has appeared twice in the Western and once in the Highland Divisional Final, and was broadcast by the B.B.C. in April, 1960.
