Item details

The life of Sam, an old and grumpy village-hall caretaker, would be quite simple - if it weren't for his wife who has her own ideas of how he should carry out his duties. The appearance of a possible lady-love from out of his past does little to help. For a full evening's entertainment, this would be an ideal play to stage along with "Who Shot The Pianist'' (a 2-act comedy-thriller (4m, 5f ) by the same author). The character, Sam, appears in both plays, and both have the same simple setting.
