Item details

Natalie, a very modern young lady, is so fervent about Women's Lib that she regards marriage as a male plot against women. Consequently, when her secret admirer, George, proposes to her, she suggests that they have a baby without entering into the preliminary of marriage. George is shocked by her suggestion, but not as shocked as Hugh, Natalie's father, who reacts in a most politically incorrect manner by kicking in the television set and throwing Natalie out of his house. George eventually saves the day, after a number of misunderstandings, and Hugh is left ruefully contemplating his wrecked television set. This play has three strong character parts and gets laughs.
