We are committed to protect your privacy while shopping online with Brown, Son & Ferguson, Limited. We will use the information that you provide us lawfully and according to the Which? Web Trader Code of Conduct.

The information collected during online ordering process is collected by Brown, Son & Ferguson, Ltd and includes:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Credit/debit card details
This information collected during the ordering process, is used to process our order and to contact you if there are any problems with your order.   The information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.  We do not store any information you send us via e-mails.

We do not send out marketing material by e-mail, fax or post, unless specifically requested by yourself.

Your e-mail address will not be passed onto other traders.

Your personal details will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the Which? Web Trader Code.

Our only use of "cookies" is to enable us to keep track of the items you place in your "shopping basket" and they are only active during your current visit.  
What are cookies?  Well cookies are small files that are written onto your local hard disk to record transactional information.  The cookies we use are only valid during your current visit and are not used for any historical or tracking purposes.

Handling Complaints
 
Our aim is for 100% satisfaction.

If you are at all dissatisfied - for any reason - with your purchase, contact Mr L. Ingram-Brown on 00 44 (0) 141 429 1234, between the hours of 9am and 4.00 pm Monday to Thursday or 9am and 3.00 pm Friday or email us at

All complaints will be acknowledged within 5 working days. We will endeavour to reach a solution with you within 7 working days and will keep you informed of all material stages in the process. All complaints will be logged so that we can monitor them for internal usage only.

Telephone calls are be charged at current National Rates within UK and current International Rates for customers phoning from outside UK.

PRICES
1.1 Prices are listed on our website. 
1.2 Prices exclude carriage and VAT where applicable.
 

2.

ORDERS / PAYMENT
2.1 When completing the order you shall be required to provide us with your complete personal details, including accurate postcode and all necessary payment details.
2.2 As soon as we receive your submitted order we will send an e-mail confirming your order details and advising you that your order is being processed.
2.3 Orders cannot be accepted from customers under the age of eighteen (18) years.

DELIVERY
3.1 Incorrect personal details may lead to problems or delays in delivery, so before placing your order, please ensure that you have included the full address details, including accurate postcode and your daytime contact telephone number or e-mail address so that we can notify you in the event that any delivery problems are encountered.  Dispatch of goods will take place within 7 working days.  If a delay is foreseen will advise the customer of expected delivery date, at such time the customer may cancel and receive a full refund.

CANCELLATION
4.1 To amend or cancel your order, please contact the Brown, Son & Ferguson, Ltd Service Team from 9am until 4pm Monday to Thursday or 9am until 3pm Friday using the contact details below.

You are entitled to cancel any payment at any time where fraudulent use has been made of your credit or debit card by another person not acting on behalf of you or as your agent and to be re-credited by us to the extent that such sums are not reimbursed by the card issuer in such circumstances.
4.3 Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within eight working days of you receiving the goods.  To cancel this contract, please advise us of cancellation by writing to the address below or by e-mail to  
Returning cancelled goods. Please enclose a note specifying your address, items being returned and mark the reason for return as "Contract Cancellation".  Please package the item securely and return it to us.  The return address is

Please note you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty.
When we receive notice of your cancellation of the order, we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price within 30 days of cancellation.

4.4 At Brown, Son & Ferguson, Ltd we want you to be delighted every time you shop with us.  Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items.
Our "no quibbles" guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition, within 14 working days of you receiving your purchase and we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item.
4.5 If you are returning an item because of an error in our part or because it is defective, we will be happy to refund the costs incurred in sending the item to you and your costs in returning it to us.  Otherwise you will be responsible for the cost of return.
4.6 To return an item, please enclose a note giving the reason for the return, wrap the package securely and send the package to the address given below. In case of a defective product, please provide a full description of the fault and return the defective item in its original box (if any).  Then send the package to :-

6 Security Policy
When transferring personal information all transactions are processed by our  Secure Server which will encrypt the information you send us using Thawte SSL  (Secure Socket Level) system with 128bit encryption.  So that the transactions between Brown, Son & Ferguson, Ltd and you remain safe, secure and private. 
Below are the symbols to indicate you are using a secure server. They will appear in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen when you type in your credit card details in the checkout area of the shopping basket.

7 Royalty Fees - Please note:
 
If your group decides to put on a performance of the play, there is a royalty fee, which at present is £ 15 (GBP) plus VAT for one-act plays and £ 30 (GBP) plus VAT for full length Plays, per performance.
